Does an early turbo (76) have ignition points?

Electronic distributors did not appear on n/a 911's until 1978. I have not yet looked under the cap of my distributor yet, but it appears as if it is a smaller unit than on later ( 78-up) 930's .

I don't think it has them. If you have a CDI box on the left side of your engine bay, it definately doesn't.

Early 911s had Bosch CDI and ignition points.
