removing injectors
 

Did a search, I could not find how to remove the fuel injectors from a 930 intake. Any help would be welcome. I do not want to force them. I have a lot of experience on normally aspirated engines but not turbos.

Injectors for a 930 are screwed into the blocks. You'll need 2 wrenches, one to hold the injector (i think its a 12mm and 14mm) and another to un-do the injector line first. Be sure and use brake-line wrenches to prevent rounding off the corners on the injector; they are a little soft. Once the line is seperated from the injector, the injector screws out of the block. These can be pretty tough to get off, so i would try a little pentrating oil first. not a whole lot of room to do this when the engine is in the car. Good luck

You need 2 wrenches as Steve stated, a 12mm and a 17mm.
The driver's side, specifically cyl #1, is not accessible unless you remove the large rubber hoses from the air meter assembly to the turbo down pipe.
It is advisable to remove the fuel lines completely before you remove the injectors. If the fuel lines are not removed they must be bent back out of the way to remove the injectors. If they are bent there is increased likelihood that the ferruled line will not re-seat and will leak.
Unscrew the injectors and pull them straight out. Be careful not to lose the copper washer under each injector.
If re-using the copper washers take care to note top and bottom. They are a squish fit and conform to the injector.
Do not over-tighten. These fittings are soft seat and will distort if over-tightened resulting in a fuel leak. The copper washers below the injectors will also distort and leak.
Once the new injectors are in and the lines back on you may wish to test for leaks by running the pumps with the engine off. This will also purge air out of the lines. I do this because it is such a PITA to put everything back on only to discover a seeping or leaking injector.
