It is not the brand you should concern about. It is the size and the spring load and/if you are running af bleed valve and not capable of adjusting boostlevel by bleed or electronical your self. Look at the inlet/outlet diameter and find whatever brand has this. Search the springload for standard boostlevel on the original. Search an aftermarket with the same or lower. You can always apply more boost, however never go the other way and lower the boost. The lowest boost available is depended on the springload only. A bypas/bleedvalve can not do any help downwards. Cutting or changing the spring is the only way in that direction.
So in short find a valve that has the same spring/boost load and the appr. same inlet/outlet size. Plus as a bonus the same flange pattern. Whether the brand says bling bling $$ or no name is not neccesarely important for the realibilty or boost stability. There are also many ways of connecting the two vacuum outlets under and above the valve membrain correct and incorrect. That alone has much more impact on your result than what brand or no-name brand is used. There are several ways of connection with different advantages or mistakes. Most of them I have seen has bought expensice bling bling valves and only connected one vacuum hose to the valve. I dont know the OEM size but a 4-bolt 50mm or a 60mm v-flange would defently work with prober adjustment and connected hoses. Forget the brand for a start. |

Having never measured my stock WG dimensions, I can tell you that a popular "brand name" conversion utilizes a 46mm opening. That seems to be well matched with most 930's, enabling the car to control and hold boost well. My bling-bling works very well. Unless you're running a huge turbo, anything much larger than 46mm may be detrimental to being able to maintain boost pressure once the WG opens. But I'm far from an expert on WG's, only know what works for many.
Or, go to our host Pelican and look up part number 930-123-210-01-M58 and you will find the diaphram for $128...assuming they have it in stock or can get it.

Stephan at Imagine Auto used to get them from some where just a few years ago, so they have to be around.
Good luck! |

Andial and Lindsey racing still carry diaphragms for Porsche wastegates. There are several others also.

Do you know for a fact that the diaphram needs to be replaced. If it isn't leaking or been pinched why bother. These things last a long time. For the cost of the diaphram I ended up picking up a whole other WG. So now I can just swap out WG when I want to change springs. I have one with .8 and one with a 1.0. .8 stays in there most of the time.
