Hoses and Wires...
In my endevours to clean up , change the clutch and fix the oil leaks, ...I am finding wires and hoses that seem to have no place to go....
The first one I have to ask about is a rubber hose coming off of the top of the waste gate....this one was found coming up to the engine compartment and ziptied to the fuel lines going to the back of the compartment.....Where does this go and what is it..?

The top hose connection on the wastegate is for venting to atmosphere. On my stock wastegate the top hose (actualy it is a hard line) goes through the engine tin, does a turn down and vents.

That is the vent for the waste gate and must stay open to atmosphere . . . the factory ran it up and into the engine compartment to try and keep it out of the dirt and water of the road . . . in original trim, there was a curved metal pipe that passed through the engine tin . . .
