930/935 front coil over set....

Hi turbomen,

Following the track updating of my car, I'm on the way to buy this.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?VISuperSize&item=310167038920 ......from them....... Porsche 911 914 RSR Front Coil Over Kit NEW w/ Springs - eBay (item 310167038920 end time Jan-30-11 16:19:51 PST)

2 years ago, I got the rear set and it's perfect...the parts and shipping was also perfect....

Some feedback from you guys....?

Why not buy direct from Rebel Racing? I see you have the RSR rear setup. http://rebelracingproducts.com/Suspension/Steering.html

Glad to hear it, are you running torsion bars in the rear still? Also what spring rates are you looking at for front & rear?

He said in another thread that yes, he still does have torsion bars. So the coil springs are only in the rear and are only helping the torsion bars.

I highly recommend reinforcement here. Otherwise you will have some cracks at chassis sooner or later

Around halfway through 1987 porsche started installing a small strengthening gusset on the outboard top side of the shock towers. It looks like his car has them in his picture.

They also ditched the goofy cyclops third brake light on the tail and started glueing one to the inside top center of the rear windsheid. These updates were used from late 1987 onward.
