19 inch wheels on a 930

Anybody put 18 or 19 inch wheels on a 930 ? How do they fit and what sort of make and offset (sizing) would make this work. If so, what size of rubber would fit on these rims ? Does the speedo get affected with these sizes ?

Typically 18" is the largest that most people consider to be appropriate for a 930.

Sometimes 19" can actually look pretty cool if you aren't going for all-out performance

18" has great tire selection. 235 and 315 fits just nicely on 8.75 and 11. 5" Here are pictures of the last set I built for a 1986 930 CAB. I currently have several sets available for a special build. Jim jdorociak@gmail.com

When I first started looking for wheels, I was convinced on 19". Then I saw a 930 that had 19's. My personal opinion, is that 19's are too much wheel for a small car. So I chose 18" HRE 560R's 9" front, 11" rear. I run Yokohama Advan Neova AD08 245 and 295.

That black slant is DOPE but it really needs those big red brakes to not look stupid.
