oil cooler line AN size
Ok, I have searched these forums for a bit today, but all I could find was some fitting sizes for a 914 with a small 6 in it. What size AN fittings do I need to go from the stock hard lines in the car, to a nice aftermarket fender mount cooler? I was thinking -16. Has anyone gone larger? Do they need to be any larger, or is a -16 fine?
Because of my front bumper cap (GT-2), I will only be able to run a fender mounted cooler, which is fine.... If I need it, which, I doubt I will, I can have my ECU turn on a cooling fan on the cooler. (I have not bought the cooler yet, so thats why I need to know the correct AN fitting sizes). FWIW, I have also eliminated the engine mounted oil cooler, and instead, have gone with the 993 factory style of a second oil filter in place of the oil cooler....

You need female 30mm to male -16 AN adapter to fit on hard line. Check BAT for them.
