best source of performance valve springs?

OK so I am looking at performance valve springs and titanium retainers. I have ready several places that eibach makes some very good ones but no idea where to get them. Still havent decided on who's doing the heads yeat but want to have all the parts ready before I send them.

Unless the engine has been prepared and will be rev'ed well past the redline to 8000-9000RPM, your money may be well spent elsewhere on the engine.

Stiffer valve springs on a stock engine will only make it work harder to do it's job, since the resistance is increased.

I think pn EB 20444-212 is the correct spring for a 964 cam.

Call Bill At Extreme Cylinder Heads in Palm City, he has his own he uses and knows what works.

+1 on Bill at Extreme...anything related to the heads, he can certainly steer you right.

How much revs and lift will stock components take?

Best regards Stefan

Ken911 03-28-2011 05:48 AM

Not sure how much the stock components will take and mine is no where close to stock even now. So with efi i plan on it as a safety measure.

Ken911 03-30-2011 02:37 PM

shouldnt rev higher than 7k but if i miss a shift (which i have done a few times) i dont want it to go boom.
