JE pistons and 964 crank
Hi!
I guess I need custom made pistons to use with 964 crank? (deck hight) I will be using 930 case, 964 crank, 8-8,5 JE, gt 2 cams and 97mm full fins & flame ring. I don't know if I will change deck hight by using flame ring & full fins.?? Should I get the flame rings done first, measure the hight of the cylinder,calculate the change in hight and then get pistons made for this set up? Do I need valve pockets to use gt 2 cams?

Contact Mr. Mike Bruns at JB Racing. He will tell you exactly what needs to happen, if anything. He also frequents these forums every once and awhile. One of the best Porsche 911 engine builders out there....
