Ultimate Datalog Thread - post your logs here

I believe there are a number of us who have data-acquisition capability and I've been thinking it would useful to have a library of data for people to reference.

We've all seen lots of AFR charts here and there, but there is very little data out there on other important parameters like CHT, EGT, fuel pressure, etc. Whatever data you've got, please share it here and together we can develop a database of info that will be useful to all of us who love tinkering with these old buckets and making them better.

Along with the data itself, we need to know the car and relevant mods, plus the conditions under which the log was recorded.

I'll kick off...my '79 930 (3.5 liter twinplug, Electromotive XDI2 ignition, SC cam, UMW K27-7200 "s", SSI exhaust and muffler from Rarly L8, Kokeln IC) logged 4.15.11 at NJ Motorsports Park (Thunderbolt circuit). Ambient temp 50-60 degrees.

2 AFR charts (x axis=rpm, y axis=boost) top are average values and bottom is minimum values. These charts represent a composite of about 5 track sessions of approx. 20 minutes each

2 histograms of the "hottest session" of the day, the top chart shows CHT data (measured under #6 spark plug). The bottom chart shows acceleration and braking g forces.

Excellent idea. For easy comparison I suggest we try to standardize on axes. For example the afr chart with RPM data every 250 RPM, manifold pressure in Bar- at 0.1 Bar increments, any other pressure in Bar as well, accels in Gs, temps in deg C?, speed in mph?, etc. Whoever posts other quantities gets to choose the units?
