Could one route the turbo sump intake_line to the crank case?

Any ill effects? My 79 seems to have no plug in the sump plate but I could possibly use the plug on the left side.

This should possibly help the scavenge pump load when/if it starts struggling. Routing the intake line takes some bends to get back down so is this effective as the turbo seals are lower than the highest point of the intake line when routed to the engine crank case? I think my turbo sump is stock and the intake line goes by the distributor where the hard line changes to a rubber line.
