VEMS AFR / EGT gauge install

Finally got my AFR / EGT gauge installed, and in doing so ridded the verylast semblances of insipidly infernal air"conditioning" - I hereby *vanquish thee*, into oblivion!!!

begone!

I surfed a few posts where folks shared their mounting locations, and toyed with a few ideas - I just sat there in the garage over a bier or seven for awhile, pondering the options... and then it spoke to me.

A/C temp control knob-delete! That sucker fit in there like popping a cheerleaders cherry I tell ya - not a c-hair (redheaded, even) to spare! WIN!

(gratuitous inclusion of recent VDO 934 telltale / Momo Prototipo on Zuff hubextender / Fosgagte speakerz - no I don't boost to 1.2, the tell's loose for now heh heh):

Now I just gotta get a pair 'o bungs welded into my exhaust and Bob's my uncle. Any suggestions on the best recommended locale's for such appreciated. I'm thinking topside, just outside the turbo exit?

Put the wb02 up to, rotated about 20 degrees rearward and use a bung plug drilled and tapped to accept the egt in the factory 02 location. No one uses factory 02, do they?

Looks really nice, your cockpit that is.

One question: What Zuff. hub extension is that exactly. I got a proto. waiting for install.

Thanks

Thanks Jesper - it's filthy in those shots as I care more about driving it then vacuum / washing it 8-). But I was lucky to score one with a pretty much 100% perfect interior.

The hub extender is from https://www.zuffenhaus.us/cgi-bin/commerce.exe?preadd=action&key=203, and coupled with the Proto... I tell ya... it *really* MAKES THE CAR!!!

_What_ a difference in driving experience. I love the extender as I can now get my knees out from being jammed into the dash while ensuring the the proper arm reach to the wheel, not to mention gets you finger tips out of the dash cap.

JUST what the car needed.

And the Proto, oh man - the reduced diameter now causes you to steer with your shoulder blades... totally bad@$$.

Best $ I've spent on the car yet...

Hi

I vacuum mine by cracking open the windows then go crazy fast - Doesn't work whatsoever

I have just tried to place an order for the hub, no luck. It keeps giving me an error code.

I guess I'll try later.

Thanks for the help.
