i am driving up there from riverside , ca to monterey

From Corona up Interstate 5, cross over at highway 46 to Paso Robles (wine tasting optional) then up the 101 to the 68 (which passes right by the track). Highway 68 will take you to the coastal route 1. About 5 hours for me. I was just up there a few weeks ago for the Monterey Reunion and the Pebble Beach Concourse. If you have the means, I highly recommend it.

i am leaving friday also......i was goin to do 101 straight up i use to have a gf in atascadero which i moved up there for so i made that drive every weekend back to the oc.....what time you taking off on friday

I'm driving up on Thursday from, like, the Valley. Leaving around midday. I might take I-5 up over the mountains, and then shoot over to the 101 going through Cholame (for Porsche spiritual reasons).

I'm driving up Saturday, staying in Salinas Saturday night and will be a volunteer worker on Sunday. I didn't see a corral pass offered for one day ticket so if anyone knows how I can get one pls pm me.

4 of us will be leaving early 9/14 from Arizona(Lake Havasu) to the 40, then the 58, next 99, then 46 to the 101 to Salinas(Motel 6). We'd welcome anyone that wants to hook up with us. We're taking our Porsche's-a 911 SC, a 944, a 930 ("Slant Nose") and a 930.

I just looked at the laguna seca website and it looks like 977 tickets have been sold for the corral- that should be a pretty good show by itself. But it seems like there are still some available. They only offered a three day pass that includes general admission for $90

Wow. 977 tickets have been sold for the parking corral? It was supposed to have been 250. What's the point of paying an extra $30 for parking when the whole track and outfield comprise the "corral?"

Because the corral is parking on pavement... the rest will be dirt for the most part... or other undesirable locations... that is what I have experienced in past events at Laguna.
