What does the Ruf btr dual exhaust involve? Looks like factory pipes welded onto the other side.

It is an UltraSmith Conversion! I did not know that it had a name! The Winkler....

I hope the original owner did not pay much for it.

As far as an oil slick....... It is a 930, it is a constant battle to NOT have the oil slick for tailgaters!!

Gotta think it has some uses (like avoiding pictures of your license plate when you're travelling quickly past a rear-facing speed camera )

If I could only find my Porsche files I could tell you how much that option was!

Mine seems to fit exactly as the stock one did. You are correct though. It does look like a factory exhaust with a second pipe out the other side. From what I have read and been told by my mechanic, it is only a little better than the stock exhaust. If you are going for an exact BTR conversion, then I suppose that is the one of choice. The closest looking one I have seen is the Fabspeed duel outlet, duel tip exhaust.

I really like the look of the RUF duel exhaust though.
