Cole, I agree with most of what you say particularly the statement about Chris I haven't bought anything from turbokraft frankly most of his stuff is out of my price range but my dealings with him have been straight up and he has helped me on several aspects of my project. I disagree with the statements from all who made them that he has other schedules to meet as the last 8-10 months have been fraught with delays from these top end vendors and failed products from such costing Chris and Linc thousands and apparently Chris got no satisfaction from them to speak of

They make these things called video cameras (hint). Sure would be stellar to witness the first blast of smoke as she belches to life. Sure wish we could all just 'buzz on over" to Indiana for the celebration, bust a bottle of champagne on the intercooler to christen the big event.

Cole!! It's finally time to get your Old Sled fired up this weekend! So, you said you don't know what to do when it's all said and done?!? Well...golly...that's easy...drive that thing and enjoy it! I know you already knew that especially with what you did tearing down and house building and all of that. I'm looking forward to hear your report!

Fantastic Cole!!!

Give us an exact time and we will crank them all up together.
Just to make the old sled feel welcome back in it's reincarnation.
We can even post it on YouTube.
That would be an awesome conclusion to this new beginning.

Thanks everyone I wish you were all here for the great event. It has been
raining all weekend and I don't want to start the car in the garage for the
first go around after all these years. Tomorrow is supposed to be dry, 65,
light wind, and sunny. Perfect for a new start.

I spent the day getting the wheels on, car off the jack stands, and trying
to do some kind of a check list to be ready. The fluids are good, oil pressure
pumped right up and the gages are working, clutch is engaging, and no oil
or fuel leaks. I ran a fuel system check into some bottles before I reinstalled
the IC so I know the CIS is working. I have a new BL WUR and the CIS was
gone completely through by Larry a few months ago. I did not lock out the
distributor or program timing and retard curves in the MSD. I figured I'd stay
away from that untill I had it running.

I'd be lying if I didn't tell you I'm nervous as a whore in church about this,
It's been a long, long time coming.

My one saving grace is knowing I can count on you bums to help with
a trouble shooting pow wow if she doesn't go.

Cole

I know the feeling Cole - the excitedness, nervousness, the anticipation. The kind of feelings you don't get from new cars :-) Looking forward to hearing (hopefully HEARING not hearing _about_ :-) the startup - and more important - driving impressions!!

Cole, I know how you feel as I was anticipating a catastrophe after I pulled my engine and did the turbo conversion. I nearly crapped myself when she started and idled fine. You sir are much more knowledgable than I, so I have nothing but full confidence that it will be great!

It's Alive !!!!!!!

Threw in some more fresh gas, rechecked rotor position, plugged in
the fuel pump rear relay, pumped up some fuel pressure, plugged in
coil wire, and she flamed right up !!!!!!!!!!!

Has to be one of the greatest days of my life.

Zork sounds bad bad bad !!!!!! Love it !!!!!!

Once I get the tail back and on I'll get my son in law to do
some video and I'll post it.

Can't take it out on the road yet but everything sounds great and
I drove it back into the garage,

I can't stop smiling !!!!!!!!

Love all you bums and forever great full for all your help, encouragement,
and kindness !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cole
