Anyone notice he's off the map? He's as busy little beaver getting it all sorted so he can drive daily, I know the feeling an urgency once the fire is lit....

Awesome job old timer. You deserve an applause on a great job.

Now go out and burn some fuel and get yourself on the next episode of "Wildest Police Chases", I will be watching........

Waiting for the tail to get back so we can get this wrapped up all nice
and presentable so it meets the standards set by the rest of you bums.

Also have some programming of run and retard curves to do. I'll get the
02 sensor installed and program the MTX-L and SSI-4 so I can monitor
and log run data. I have some clean and neatening to do here and there.

Don't have the words to tell you how much I appreciate all the support
and encouragement you've given me, I am humbled and I sincerely thank
you all.

Well I keep starting the old girl every couple days just to make sure it still runs
and I'll never get tired of that sound !!!!!!!

Been doing some catch up on issues other than the sled that needed to be done.

I had made a sled check list to work through and started on that this week. I
had a few things I thought looked like s--- so I redid them and I had a hundred
little items to finish or tidy up.

I bought some 911R exterior deck lid hinges at TRE so I can mount the Tail
and it will flip all the way over and rest on the back window. I had the hinges
powder coated black, they really look good. Makes it a lot simpler than screwing
around with some kind of a prop.

Reindexed the front torsion bars and got the front ride height down at 25 1/2"
setting the rear was a piece of cake with the coil overs. Just jack it up enough to
let the tires clear the ground and then spin the coil over collars up or down, took
10 min. to have both sides at 25".

Installed a LED insturment panel lighting package and it really makes viewing
insturments at nite a lot better.

Rerouted some hoses and vacuum lines to make things look neater.

It's nice to see it coming together all that's left is the tail and I should see
that soon. It's starting to look like a real Porsche !!!!!

Hope to be back with the tail install real soon. Then I'll wash the old girl and my
son in law said he will help me get some video posted.

Thanks to all you bums !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cole

Its a rare occasion to get to see your whole car pictured Cole and I'm sure others feel the same.

That's a killer looking machine. You will own the road!

edit: I don't know how you have the patience to not go for a rip even without the tail!

Cole,
The only thing sicker than your custom air intake is your intercooler mounting. Amazing build.

Marc:

Thanks Bud !!!!!

The tail is an Old School 935 extended tail and it sits out over the rear bumper.
I have had the tail gathering dust in my garage for years just for this occasion.

Chris built the IC and we moved the IC way back in the tail to optimize all the
fresh air we can get through those hugh louvers in the deck lid. Chris put the two
strut mounts on each side and one above the TB to IC flange. With the turnbuckles
we can get it cranked down tight on the TB and it does not move or lift at all.

Congratulations Cole. An amazing build all over.
The placement of your CIS and air intake is sick looking. Not to mention the exhaust tip :-)
Also I must say that I really like the front fender with the big air intakes. With the side skirts and rear bumper this is just a perfect car :-)
BTW, really nice intercooler :-)

That's the black Momo knob that came with my wheel. I turn it around backwards
most of the time, the flash makes it look grey.

Thanks Buddy !!!!!

You hit the nail on the head when you said business as that's exactly
what I was going for. No bling, no flash and trash, just pure function. Add
the tail and it's time to get down to business.

Ronnie:

Really glad you enjoyed following the progress and now we're getting
to the end and I want you all to know having all of you following along
is what has really made it special.
