I have an 88 930 i am in the process of beefing up. Currently i have:
Rarlyl8 headers
K 27 7200 turbo
Fabspeed long neck intercooler
Tial 1 bar wastgate spring
Stebro muffler......1st part of my question

1stly the muffler. Mechanic is saying the shotty design of the muffler is afying the whole car performance....i would know as i have not seen the car in a long time. Wondering what would be a good replacement muffler for the system as it would be a shame to upgrade like this and lose the power because of a muffler. I paid 1100 for the muffler in January so it sucks but i am learning a lot these days about these cars!

Second is there any other upgrades i should or could do to help me beat my buddy with the 89 405 wbh.... Lol. Just kidding but may as well keep my car in the shop all summer. Do they make winter tires for these? Again kidding

The maker of your headers sells an excellent, straight through muffler, too (in many tail-pipe configurations).
