Koni Shock Assembly
On a 77 911S with red Konis, where does the white plastic washer go in assembly?
The shocks were not assembled when I purchased the car and I have new replacements, however, the instructions don't show the where the white plastic washer is placed! I think it goes inside the shock housing! Total regards, Howard |

You are right, the washer spaces the steel dust cover from rubbing the housing.
