Porsche Crest 930 stalls after 1+ hour driving??

Hi Guys,
My 85 930 runs great...just 56,000km factory. Lately after driving for around an hour it seems to just shut off!! No other problems at all. After 5 or so minutes it will start again. Any ideas? on this one.

Check the yellow (or red) relay in the engine compartment. That is a common failure that leads to immediate shut down then restarts after a short cool down.

Same thing happened to mine.... It gets worst (time frame that it will not start) then will not start at all.
Put in a MSD, Porsche's CDI box's are questionable. This is just a guess, but i had the same symptoms.

Yellow relay is a special over-boost relay that shuts fuel down/off when it sense's enough is enough. Can't be substituted...
