1200 HP :: 200mph +

Some pretty amazing numbers for a 1994 air cooled engine.

Engine life ??

Hello, If you do a search for "Juan Ruiz" (the posters name) you will find dozens of cool threads regarding Eddie Bello and his monster 911.

I'm just curious...at what point are you just spinning your wheels.

Is 450 - 500 HP enough? Can you get 100k miles out of an aircooled turbo with 500HP?

Seems like the 911 turbo in the video below with 700Hp ..has trouble getting it to the ground see video below.

It's not just the power but how the power is achieved and used. Most race engines are over a race weekend inspected or over-hauled to some extent after races or a particular X amount of life hours not miles.

So think in life hours not milage. It also depends on how you drive. If you drive it like a hot and bothered teen no, not long. Depends on the usage. 500 vs 700 vs 1200 could / can be faster or slower depending on what your driving conditions are.
Bello's car is not going to carve Canyons and narrow twisty mountain or forest roads with 1200, but a guy with 500 is not going to achieve a 1mile flat out assault. Don't worry about others worry about your needs and balance the car around you.

Just wait a week or two. There's a new Bello video with "interview" coming out pretty soon here.

Kind Regards,

Matt
