fuel tank charcoal canister
Hey I have a question for the turbo brain trust here. My car was obviously converted to meet US pollution rules. While doing some work on the engine, still wont run, I found the charcoal canister just laying behind the motor by the shock tower. I is some big US thing that I'd like to do something else with. What is everyone using for a canister, or are some of you just doing without? Where does the factory canister mount? This canister had a vacuum line from the throttle body, one port plugged with a metal punch and then the fuel tank vent line. I dont remember my SC having any vacuum line running to the canister so I wonder if it is necessary.
Thanks Frank
