930 engine wiring connectors

hey guys - I forgot what plugs into what - please remind me...
WUR = black connector
Colt start = blue connector
top of metering plate = green connector

leaving the tan one for the AAV?

correct?

thanks in advance!
E-man

On mine (1987) the tan connector is on the WUR and the black is on the AAV - I can't say for sure if this is correct, however . . . be interesting to see what other people say.

Garage
I just looked up some photos I have on file and it's another "yes" to your initial assumptions.

To follow up on my original responce: I looked at pics I took of my engine before I rebuilt it and the wire connectors are as I said . . . that being said, I looked at pics of other engines on this forum and the connectors are positioned in the way you (E-man930) indicate in your first post - hard to explain the discrepancy!

You know since the devices recieving power are "dumb" it may not matter as long as a connector is plugged in to feed it power. Thanks everyone for your quick responses.

Mine is in pieces right now but I am 90+% sure that my WUR had the black connector.

Yep, agreed. They're just sources of power originating from the same source. As long as the plugs are interchangable, then it really don't matter.
