930-78-3,3 co2 Test ??

Hello.
I have now changed the fuel distributor. and tuned co2, by ear, and the engine running well must be a co2 tester or is it good enough as I have done? I am thinking of the engine can be damaged if co2 is too low ??

Greetings
John.
