My New "to Me" Turbo

I just took delivery of a perfect 86 1 owner Turbo. The car is perfect, and the previous owner was as nice and professional as I have ever met on any Board. First class all the way, and what a meticulously maintained car. 52K miles, full Can-Can red interior, LTD slip, Ruf wheels, and every document and receipt since new.....Not a single detail was ever over looked in the care of this car. I feel very lucky to be the next owner.....Here's a few pix...sorry pix are a few posts below...

Beautiful auto! Congratulations!

I wonder how long it will take you to start "tinkering" with it?

Would Love to see pictures of the engine and trunk compartments. That's where you can really tell if the prior truly kept the car well.

Have fun, they are wonderous autos.

Very nice car, congrats. Hope you find a nice set of 7 and 9s and finish off the original look. That's a lot if red, my eyes start to burn looking at it too long rare color combo.. Btw what state is the car from...

Thanks to all for the words of encouragement. The car is from Oklahoma, and yes I will source a set of 7's and 9's for the OE thing, but the RUF's will remain. They are just to tough looking to take off. I was wondering if anyone knew how many red on red Turbo's were done in the 86-89 cars?

Doesn't look like it's gonna be any fun at all. Single owner....wow, where does a person find one of those?
You better just park her, go down to the garage before bedtime and stroke her curves, 'cause driving it will just wear off the shine.
Looks pretty darn nice, you should be proud. But even though (and this is just a personal preference) I get kinda redded-out...almost makes my eyes hurt. For me, it was either black....or white. But it don't matter, what you have is a beautiful machine and obviously well taken care of.
Enjoy, now go out and rod the holy bejesus outa her and report back!!!
