EFI distributor vs crank/cam sensors
I am working on my EFI again and stumbled across some older threads discussing the Accel 77911 distributor (dual sync)....anyone try this yet...pro's/con's?

We talk about you 87 turbo right? Then the Accel is useless, your dizzy turns counterclockwise...
I think all 3.3 turbos doSo I dont think the gear will fit. Direction itself does not matter BTW

you could do what I'm doing and use a 964 3.6 flywheel conversion with the full sized 60-2 wheel configuration and use a sensor like the stock 964 Bosch sensor and sensor mount. Your 930 gear box bell housing will likely have to be notched for the sensor, but the 2 mounting holes should already be in your case...they were in my '87

The distributor will work fine IF.... You are running an aftermarket ECU such as a Accel DFI or any programmable fuel/spark engine management system. You will need to use your gear off your stock distributor. The rotation is irrelevant with these units. They are extremely reliable. If you want it modified for twin plug let me know. G

Turns out my sensors were working fine..they were just in the wrong zipcode. I had a high syncRef value (93%) which required moving of the cam sensor to bring it down to ~65%...should eliminate some of my issues.
