930 intercoler gasket ??

Hello.
I need the rubber gasket that sits on top of the charge air cooler (my intercooler is original) where can I find one?

Sincerely,
John

Hey john the part is #930 110 285 01. About $150. Your Dealer will have it or check online shops like ***********.com.

Can't you use the intercooler seal from Andial?

Andial has a seal that they sell for intercooler to body. I think it's $25 bucks. It may not be the same shape as the factory seal. I'm running a Kokeln IC and I fabricated a bolt-on sheetmetal flange to the IC. The flange is tight to the IC and the rubber seal is cut to seal tightly to the body. I also fabricated sheetmetal block-off panels for the AC condensor that I removed.

How did you "bolt on" a sheet metal flange? For the Andial seal price, I could be convinced to finally attempt attaching a seal to my B&B, but can't really see where a person could drill into and bolt onto the casting. It wouldn't be cool poking a hole in the IC, since holes and IC's don't mix....unless you drilled and tapped and thread sealed it. Curious...

Hello, I need one too if there is a source less than the dealer for the stock intercooler. Thanks!

I bet the outside of the Kokeln unit has plain aluminum sheet that does not have anything to due with the bar and plate core, so he can drill and tap away. The 965 shroud was held on by rivets to the intercooler side plates which were just aluminum sheet...
