930 distributor specs - where to set timing??

I was planning on checking the timing on my SC distributor and was wondering what the specs for the 930 engine timing is at idle and at ~6k? I am going to set my distributor to about the same. Does that make sense or not, being it is not a 930 engine? Trying to figure out where my current advance is as it relates to a turbo motor.

Only have found one reference so far. In Bruce andersons book, pg 157, says the stock distributor ignition timing is to be set to 25* at 4000 rpm with vac line disconnected for a turbo engine.

Now in my bentley manual for the SC it say to set the timing to 26* at 6000 rpm with the vac disconnected.

So i am running the car with the advance disconnected, so would it really be that different than a 930 distributor?
