CDI Pin Out

Yes, I promise I used the search function!
The workshop manual I have only shows an 8 pin CDI connector. I have a 6 pin connector. I need to understand how to get power to it.
I believe that Pin 2 of the Engine Harness Connector is where the CDI gets switched power, but I would use some help confirming this. Perhaps someone could even put a hyperlink to an old post where this schematic is available please!

to find your answer

You need power to pin #15 and ensure 31/1 is grounded That should make her whine, but it won't make her fire
