Newbie Considering Buying a SC 911

Hi everyone, I just stumbled across this forum and I have to say, its a great wealth of info and I'll be back often. Until I'm up to speed I was hoping for a few suggestions on what to look for when I go test drive a 2002 911 w a SC.

It has 50K miles and seems to be in pretty good condition with impeccable service records. Is there anything in particular I need to check for or be aware of? Certain questions to ask to make sure that everything is in good working order?

I'm somewhat hesitant of buying a Porsche that a previous owner had SC'ed since I know so of the 50K were hard miles...but I figure if I arm myself with enough knowledge I might be able to pick up a pretty incredible car.

Thanks,,,,,

Nobody?

Nothing specific I should look for with the car or supercharger? I'm obviously going to have a compression test but is there anything else?

You are on the Turbo forum and not the 911 forum. I you would go to the
911BBS forum you will find the help you need. Good luck with a 911 purchase, wonderfull cars.

If the PO spent all that money to SC a 996, check to see if they upgraded the IMS and RMS.
