Excellent Article About 930

In the Nov. issue of Hemming's "Sports And Exotic Car" there is an excellent article about the 80's era Porsche 930 turbo. The title is "Was Darwin Wrong?" and subtitled "The late 80's Porsche 911 Turbo defied meaningful revision and was all the better for it". It is not on their website yet, so pick up a copy if you get a chance. Well worth the read.

i got the issue yesterday and read the article standing in the driveway. maybe 930s will get full respect again some day and articles like this will help remind folks what these Porsches really are.

Good articles on the 930 in both GT Porsche and 911 and Porsche World mags this month. 911 and PW's "Next Big Thing" article identified the 930 as one of the bargain classic 911s to buy now. Particularly interesting since the '85 930 (same car features in both articles) is for sale and priced at 40,000 GBP - shows the differences in value on these cars already between the UK and US/Canada. If I could get $60,000 + for mine I'd be tempted to sell!

I agree, it is a great article. I read it this morning and just had to shake my head at how far ahead the 930 was.
