You'd just be looking at a giant intercooler.

Juan, do you know why the switch from OS Giken to GT diff? Is the transition (on/off) too abrupt on the OS Giken?

Hello Juan,

In addition to our differential, I also want to mention that he went to one of our 3 piece Cup spec 3.167 ratio mainshafts at the same time.

(technically this is the GT3 version, but you get the idea. )

Regards,

Matt Monson

We broke 4 of those things!! I had the Guard spool on my car, and the thing was very well build but unfortunately for me, when my side cover exploded it damaged the spool in the process, so I went back to the OEM limit slip for the time been.

Bello, finally listened to me, and we got the Guard Differential.

Today, we made a pass, and we ran 9.96@ 168.98 MPH and again the record is 9.16@161mph soooooooooooo soon we hope to change those numbers but I think right now, is the fastest Porsche in the 1/4 period.

Wow, four broken diffs has to suck badly, hopefully the GT diff will handle the power.
And speaking of power, Bello has run a quicker e.t. before, if I remember correctly, but he sure has stacked on some mph.
I would think that the 9.16 record is going to be broken very shortly, all that is needed is some fiddling with the suspension and adjusting to the new tune.
Keep us posted of the progress and if possible would love to see pictures of the engine compartment and the water/air intercooler.

Juan, in a drag car the perfect ET for 168mph is around 7.85... You can do the quick math with this simple equation.

1320 / mph
ex: 1320 divided by 168 mph = 7.85 ET
Equally you can figure out proper mph based on an ET
ex: 1320 divided by 9.96 = 133 mph

I give is an 8.6 or 8.7 once it's given a chance to run on a clean dry track.

my first question is this..

Is he on a lower boost setting right now? I have a feeling he's leaving some boost in the bag-o-tricks till he sorts the launches out. I'm sticking by my 8.60 and will go 174 on the mph.. I have faith in the man, not to mention the weather is only going to get better over the coming months.

Awesome!
Good luck trying to get into the 8s.
To do it, I think you need to cut into that 60ft time.
Look forward to the result.
