Sad To See Gabe \ Reaper's 930 For Sale

I am in total shock Gabe! I had to check the calender to make sure it was not April 1st. Whatever the reason (hopefully you were not burnt out on the car), I am saddened to see your Blackbird for sale, this car will always be associated with you...infact it is you!

I hope the car goes to a great home and wish you the best...you redefine "pushing the envelope" and "perfection".

What a week, first Paul's car for sale now yours..sad to see my pals moving on.
Warm Regards,
Yasin

Jeez, I'm completely baffled. If I were to choose one person on this forum that I never expected to see selling his/her car, it would be Gabe. It's been a hell of a lot of fun to watch. Let's hope that whomever buys it will finsih up the final details and enjoy the enormous amount of time, planning and money that have been expended..

Didn't see that one coming.

This car/Gabe has always been a tremendous inspiration for me.

Gabe, I wish you best of luck on your future endeavors.

I always liked that car. Bigger and better projects I guess. Anyone know where he got that shifter? I like the short lever and elevated mount.

I sent an email to Bring-A-Trailer and they featured Gabe's car, hopefully that will assist in marketing the car:

634hp Porsche 930/935 K3 Conversion For Sale

The comments are a little harsh and some of the people commenting have actually seen the car and spoken to Gabe.

Yeah and this is most of the reason why i'm moving on out of the community - a bunch of retards that say ***** like "he must think I didn't know what I was looking at" saying a 3.8tt isn't capable of 850 rwhp HAHAHAHAHA, come the f**k on.

Yes the presentation is rough, it needs the final polish of new paint and re-fitment of the front end. Mechanically its more on point than most 930s on the street. The motor is still basically new, the suspension with 4k miles on it, new rear hubs & bearings, new oiling system with 18 qt capacity...and a MoTeC setup installed AND TUNED that cost MORE than a 930.

I guess some people don't know how to read an ad that discloses everything.

I remember reading your stuff way back in the day. Back when you were trying to decide what types of hubs and where you were gonna get wheels and all that jazz. You did a wicked awesome job seeing this thing through. Very cool car... people just don't get it sometimes. I bet there would be people that walk up and tell you your door handles are not what it came with from the factory... ha ha ha, retards. Dude, very cool project and you handled it well. I just appreciate how you always documented everything and let some of us live through you vicariously

Gabe-

BaT is a mixed batch, so don't let the H8erz get you down. Great car and a remarkably focused effort and not a "parts bin" build in the slightest. Best of luck with future projects and stay safe overseas.
