Turbocharger Rebuild Advice

My smoking problem proved to be the K27. No smoke at all with the swap to a K26 shelf part.
Anyway, I was recommended to use Evergreen Turbo in Ocala, Florida. They are close, so that is a plus. However, what sealed the deal for me was a 30 minute conversation on the phone. The gentleman had all sorts of interesting tidbits of information plus had some ideas on how to improve the performance of the K27 specifically for a 930 motor with SC cams. Apparently he has been doing this to P-Car turbos for 20 years.
He talked about a compressor lightening program and swapping the 11 turbine housing for a 9 housing. Supposedly good for moving the full response down by about 500 rpm and interim spool up being much, much quicker. And the price is right too.
Anything else I should be asking??? (yes, he has a balancer and all the fancy toys, plus some he built himself for getting these babies back to perfect).
