What is the going rate for early 930 sport seats?

How much can expect to pay for a set of manual early 930 sport seats? By early I mean '78-'79. Condition would be ready to bolt in, no reconditioning needed.
Thanks!

I would expect $1000 and up unless you get lucky. I just bought a pair that are black vinyl and less than wonderful for $650 and for what I want will need to have them recovered which will be more than double that. As a datapoint I sold a later ('83) pair to buy these that were very nice brown leather for $900. The earlier style seems to command a bit of a premium.

What type. Leather, color etc?

I might be interested in a trade with some 930 cis stuff if that is at all interesting.

When can we see the car? - congrats

I love mine.

I would expect in the $1500-$1800 range. I know it would be half that just to re-cover in leather and re-pad them by a quality seat builder in German fabric.

I would say it's worth it. I have a set of Sparco's that are still sitting in the closet as these early sport seats are so comfortable and supportive.

New, full leather seat covers run about $1000. Install labor is about $100 per piece. Two pieces per seat and two seats gets you to $400 for the labor. So total for reconditioning to brand new status is about $1400. Just a very, very recent data point for you as you make your decision.

Thanks for the feedback!
I have the opportunity to trade a set of 930 electric seats for a set of '78 930 manual sport seats and don't know what either are worth. What are the electric seats worth?

My 2 cents is Brian you should have $200.00 at the end of the day.

Yes I am trading cars. The fellow interested in mine wants to swap seats. It sounds like the '85 power seats may be worth a similar amount as my '78 manual sport seats. I just wanted to verify this before swapping out. The car I am buying won't be transported until after Thanksgiving. I'll post pictures once it is cleaned up. The car is bone stock so not too exiting to look at. I have things in mind to change that.

Here are my sport seats:
