Oh, forgot to say good luck, Paul.
You were one of the first to welcome me when I first joined the forum.
Always enjoyed your posts.
When I sold my old 89 930 I thought that was it.
Before buying this one I test drove many cars inc 996 tt and GT3s.
None of them did the 930 thing ,so I bought this 79 930.
Good luck with the Merc.
Enjoy the aircon.

I know things Paul... Hey good luck with her, I sold those back in the day and the are fabulous cars with the active vent seats and all that cushy stuff. My car is coming along well, I don't want to rush but I am getting kind of impatient.

Linc, yes I've got a caddy coming. I have not committed the blasphemy of selling the 930 though. To much blood, sweat, tears and dollars wrapped up in the blue bucket for me to let it go...you understand. I sold the 928, which was the better sale candidate anyhow given it was 100% bone stock and had only 23k miles.

Happy thanksgiving folks.

Uber hp sedans sure are fun. I have a hard time with my E55 getting any traction, so I don't know how Paul and Jacob are gonna hook up with all that tq!

I agree with Cole, bunch dropping like flies. Paul, going to miss the hilarious way you have with words. You made me realize that I wasn't alone in my frustration and fear of the technical aspects machines. Good luck in your future endeavors. Some of the modern machinery seems nice but there's something about these old beasts that make me look forward to Friday and weekend drives. I hope you'll be back with some old p car metal, even if it's not forced induction.

BTW- all you guys leaving for something different need to post a pic of the "new" mistress, I'd like to see what's catching the eye of my contemporaries.

9dreizig, totally get the miata thing. It is one of the greatest cars build - in my mind. Simply because the sum of the cheap and simple parts it's build of.
I persuaded both of my brothers to buy one, 911 was not an option.
So much fun.

Krasus, have been searching to see exactly what kind of mb you bought.
Model please?

Pauly I had to do a search and find this picture. It really sums up the humor and good times you bring to the community. Turbopalooza '09 weekend was one I'll never forget. Meeting all these folks and putting faces with the user names is priceless.
I'm sure with your exceptional personality you hear this often: don't be a stranger.

Thanks Vas!

Bryan, I hear ya - another member w/ a CL55 warned me of the same... tough car to keep tires on. Sound familiar? 8-/ I can run but I cannot hide d'oh.

Calvin - still don't have any good pics, but here's a few lame ones:

Todd - enjoy running the Miata series... gheyness aside (heh heh) you're gonna have a hoot.

Jesper, car details in my sig 8-). It's a 5.5L v12 biturbo, 19psi stock sees ~ 520hp/610tq (crank) - I just pulled the trigger on the ECU/TCU tweak last night, another 2psi sees ~ 530/700... at the wheels. Just not right.

Brian... heh heh, amen brutha - NOTHING like putting faces w/ online personalities and getting to hang / shenanigans together. GOOD TIMES!

Yeah, that pic was classic - we were having good fun mocking Justin running that donut udner them flares. And there simply is no end to the fun to be had w/ a simple set of Fletch teeth! Man I get some good mileage out of those... passes the time.

Thanks for that thought too Brian, so many have said such cool things - really shows the greatness of this group. Appreciate the sentiments (and promise not to shoutout for a group hug)...
