Audio is really difficult, I needed my Bose noise canceling headset to hear it, but then again my ears are toast.

Yes it's hard to believe that's the same little girl who used to yell "boost it daddy!" when I took the kids for a ride in the Red Rocket. Once they hit the teen years their brains melt.

I'd like to purchase better equipment for filming and sound. I bought a Go-Pro years ago and just hated it as you couldn't see what you were filming. What is the best bang for the buck now that will do a decent job? What about an external microphone? I saw one clip where a mic was mounted on the bumper, really sounded authentic.

There are LCD backs you can get for the gopro, but modern ones also have wifi. You can use an app on your phone to see and control the camera. Works ok, there's a couple second delay in the video, but it helps you position the camera and its useful when you don't want to crawl out on the wing at 200mph

Have you ever tried a stationary mic & camera alongside the road? The idea is to start about an 1/8 mile from the recording device and accelerate hard towards and past the equipment.

Tried the same a couple of weeks ago and getting good noise is a real problem.
After all the effort I know you have a great product. Now to sell it I think you should talk with a pro. They will have the experience and proper equipment.

One positive thing about the sound quality of the video - you can tell that there is ZERO noise in the cabin when tooling around. The window was down the entire time and we were having a conversation just like sitting in your living room. Really want to capture what it sounds like on boost, it is unreal, just screams!

Gorgeous day, had to go for a drive. Really loving this muffler, I think I'm going to leave it on. Unfortunately there isn't enough room a for GT3 tailpipe. It's so quiet until you stick your foot in it and even then its not loud just a good tone as the valve cracks open. On boost it's unreal!
To finish it off I cut one of our full wrap fiberglass valances to stock spec and did a quick paint.

Thank you, it has been a LOOOOONG time coming. Unlike the quiet stock muffler this one sacrifices no power, it is somewhere between a Hooligan and a Zork on boost and stock at idle and cruise. Vastly reduced backpressure. Straight through design was retained so no crazy baffle/chamber system to plug it up.

Yes final testing is complete. I've had one form or another of this muffler on for years. All those pictures of my car with the GT3 tailpipes were active exhaust mufflers used to test longevity of the valves. Remember when I lost the fuel pump relay and fogged the entire 9 mile trip home? The valve worked flawlessly and was completely coked by the time I got home. It never opened which would have been the death of the earlier valves tested.
We have the fixture completed and the stamped endplates are being produced. Shouldn't be too long!

Brian, great photos of the kids in the back of the Red Rocket. The muffler sounds fantastic and is something I'd be very interested in putting on my car. I've never loved the Fabspeed muffler on my car, and the zork is too loud for my tastes. Awesome work.

Perhaps putting the cart ahead of the horse, but would the valve and bypass be retrofittable to a car with a Hooligan and your WG dump pipe?

One of the designs I tried used the street version of my muffler line. I was looking for something as quiet as stock at idle and none of my mufflers is that quiet. The active exhaust is completely different in design and doesn't use any of the previous line's components. I was hoping to have a retrofit option but couldn't make it work. The designs are for completely different driving experiences, those who prefer the sport sound all of the time and those who may have a spouse or neighbor that does not share that passion. Everybody wins!
