cig lighter wiring
My project today is to fix the cig lighter. I have no power to it. It looks like the access point is either from the trunk or removing the glove box. Any advice is appreciated. Also I assume it goes straight to the fuse box. Or does it go some where else. Any idea of the color of the wire? Does anyone know the path it takes to the fuse box. Any thought or advice is appreciated

My advice is to stop smoking so you won't need no stinkin' cig lighter or care which wire hooks 'em up
![]() I don't think I've ever checked my cig lighter for power. Would be happy to contort myself under the dash to look-see what wire is hooked up if nobody chimes in.

well i got it working, there was 2 wires unplugged? one was the main power feed coming directly into the back and the other i am not sure needs to be plugged in to it. THe wire in question is a blue wire with a white trace i believe, very hard to see! any one know the wiring colors to the back of the cig. lighter? there is a main power feed in the dead center and two of the brown(ground?) on either side and off the ground on both sides there is a extra terminal which is what i plugged the blue one into. nothing smoked and it seems to work but i would like another opinion. Mark good luck with kicking the habit! that would be great! i have a few friends that persevered through it and are very happy they did.
