Wheel / tire fitment question

Hi guys, have a stock '87 930 that I want to dress up cosmetically. Can some of you "in the know" tell me if this combination will fit without altering my sheet metal?
The wheels are Simmons 3pc, Front 17x9 ET 25mm; Rear 17x11 ET 38mm
Kumho Ecsta XS
Front = 245/40-17
Rear = 315/35-17

Many thanks in advance.

Adriano

Adriano:

Off the top of my head you should be ok. If you still have the original
spacers in that would give you some adjustment to work with if it's close.

Those are the size...

tires I run with no problems of rubbing at all. Not sure on the back spacing though. Certainly gives the car a different feel with the big tires on the front, but still manageable. Philip

You should be fine but as these cars were basically hand-made and getting old (with chances of dings and repairs) the guards aren't all equal.

I had that combination (those exact tires) and had to trim a tiny amount off the inside of one rear guard to eliminate rubbing.

Can you test fit the wheels before buying?

The 9 and 11 are OK. it all depends on the backspacing. Trying them on will tell you pretty darn quick.

9" ET25mm = ~6" backspace
11" ET 38mm =~7.5" backspace
