Trouble starting SC after sitting too long

My car has been barricaded in my garage for the last 10-11 months. It's not entirely unusual for it to have prolonged stints where it's not started, and usually starts fairly well... but this time the battery is dead; and after charging the engine now turns over fine but doesn't attempt to fire.

It was running fine when it was parked. Please help me with work through this and get her running again.

Thanks,
Andy E.

Garage
Check for spark.
Check for fuel.
If you have spark give it a shot of starting fluid. If it starts then dies it's a fuel delivery problem.

You would do better posting in the 911 forum rather than the Turbo forum - much more traffic over there pertaining to your car.

So true. We 930-heads are a twisted bunch, an odd mixture of eccentric folks who know their $hit and would be glad to help a mere mortal 911 N/A owner, but then we may say things like "shame on you. How dare you not exercise your loved one more often". Which reminds me....it's been almost a month since I've lit 'er up in my garage.

Fuel and spark...gotta be one of the two. Fuses, relays, coils, CDI's, electrical connections, etc. Check 'em all, something is loose or corroded or malfunctioning somewhere.

Crap, sorry; didn't mean to post to the Turbo forum.
Will that make my car a Turbo now (that is once I get it started)?

No problem, we're all part of the same P family. Post back here once you've got your hands dirty probing around if you haven't found the problem.

Posting in the Turbo forum will make your car sound and run much better. Or, buy one of these SoundRacer - YouTube
