Pretty cool. Good eye Jon. The life expectancy of these is well known in a race motor, but what if used primarily in a street motor that doesn't see the redline much?

No idea, but I would hope the answer is forever....... They are never going to see the punishment that they did in a 935 motor, I can't see them ever needing changing..... Maybe new big and little ends on a full rebuild, with new rod bolts, but why would the rod itself need replacing? I'd hate to have the bill for a set

The reason behind rod replacements with this material is that when they see high RPM they "stretch" over time out of tolerance.

Awesome car, noticed your boost gauge is plumbed to the front side of the throttle plate which shows the blow off/diverter valve function and posative pressure there but I think most plumb it to the back side of the throttlebody so as to show actual pressure/vaccume to the engine. I might be wrong but I had mine incorrectly plumbed and changed it. This is how I noticed yours. Maybe you wanted it there.
