East coast has it too! Seen it at a Sunoco and a Hess. Too bad they didn't put the filler in the correct place, that would really confuse people!
But hey, how many gas stations display an air-cooler on their screens? Very special! |

That same little "how to" picture is all over the place in Minnesota and a number of other states I've driven through, and has been for many years. Somewhere, in some little art department, a bored out of his ass graphics guy was once probably asked to come up with a car being filled with gasoline, and that's what he came up with. Very aspirational. I sometimes wonder if he ever fulfilled his dreams and got a real 930.
