Advice on programmable boost controller

Looking to install a variable/programmable boost controller to allow higher boost levels in higher gears (i.e. 3rd - 5th). Currently running .8Bar with stock wastegate setup. Engine is heavily modified to handle 1.2 Bar reliably (8:1 pistons). Would like a reliable and simple controller...

I'm just getting into this and will be doing boost by gear control via ecu mapping. Along with a programmable ecu a vehicle speed sensor and electronic boost controller is required. The ecu program typically has a boost gear input chart (map) for the vehicle mph based on 1000 rpm for each gear. Once these values are established a percentage of max boost is then entered in the chart for the gears below the gear that the desired max boost level is achieved. This enables the ecu to vary the start duty cycle of the boost controller which in turn signals the waste gate to open sooner with control in the lower gears. I'm sure each manufacturers ecu's map differently than mine and there very well may be a simpler boost control device out there that I'm not aware of.

Forte, no personal experience using a boost controller; I may well extend my little project a bit to do the same as above ^^^ and have variable boost control dependant upon gear...other than that, my ECU (MBE) will control boost internally.

A mate who's very much into Supra Mk4's, iirc, ran Greddy before the latest bout of tuning and new ECU....know nothing about how to set one up, but imagine it's possible.

I also saw that Chris Carrol @ TurboKraft has one for sale ---> Toms old Greddy boost controller ....may be worth a call to Chris to find spec?
