what material are our intercoolers made of...
 
stock 3.3 intercooler is made of?...

cast? aluminum? or?...sorry for dumb question, but cant find this anywhere

Hopefully aluminium.

I need to have a bung welded on it and just making sure it is possible before I call my shop

Yes it is aluminium. I have welded to mine before. I dont remember what filler rod I used iirc it was ER4043.
