Potential poison pill: "Custom Tuning by Motor Meister"

Looks pretty neat lots of $$ spent (full EFI and 965 Intercooler)

You have to love owners that state: "When the turbo kicks in, its like taking off in an airplane"..laughing

The yellow in the engine bay cheapens the car for me as well as the big ugly bracket from the AC delete.

I do not see any RUF parts?

It seems to me, that if you pull all of the RUF parts off, it stops being a collectible RUF 930?

I like the part where the owner modified it to be a more "reliable" dailey driver! A stock 930 or even a RUF 930 is a pretty reliable driver!!

I wonder if he still has the RUF Intercooler? Now that would be collectible!;)

It states "Custom Tuning my Motor Meister". That means RUN AWAY as fast as you can. The engine is probably a ticking time bomb.

That is not a factory "slantnose delete" 930. Last time is saw a WP0ZZZ VIN prefix it was on a factory Porsche, not a RUF.
LOL! "Custom tuning by Motor Meister".......custom tuning, never have two words had such dire consequences when used in conjunction with Motor Meister. Some poor child is crying himself to sleep because someone took pieces from his erector set to make that poor excuse of IC support brackets. Look at all that wiring laying around the engine bay!

I guess its a Ruf because of the steering wheel and the Ruf wheels supposedly in the possession by its owner. Or maybe Ruf acquired Motor Meister as its US distributorship? :)

Run away!

Complete Engine Rebuild, including all gaskets, hoses, connections, piston rings, new oil cooler.
I wonder if this engine rebuild was done by the tuner, it would make sense to me.

76k buy it now:rolleyes:

Always wonder, considering the hugh amount for RUF to build a car how anyone would not have the records for such an expensive conversion. Also the wait time and everything involved it is not a casual decision to have RUF build it in the first place. Without proper documentation it is a shade tree conversion and if in excellent condition mechanically, it is still a modded 930.

0 feedback is reason enough to avoid this one.

And pre-school level misspelling is an awesome reason for avoiding this one...;)

HFR_Racer 03-03-2012 08:58 AM

Anyone heard of "fixie" wheels?? :)

Run away.....

boostfix 03-03-2012 09:05 AM

......dey mighta been benda wheels and got fixie

voitureltd 03-03-2012 09:47 AM

Lots of BS going on with the guys that somehow claim or managed to get such a sophisticated car like a RUF. No mention of detailed build sheet from RUF or even photos. I would bet if you bought all of the cars represented as RUF built or later modified after new by RUF, without documents, you would not get a real one, period. Either they are BS ing or were BS d. Obviously a few RUF parts ( if real) do not make it real.

lol...I thought I was thinking the same thing. The rockers are missing the jack port so how could it really be "slant delete"?!

TT Gasman 03-06-2012 06:04 AM

It's very easy to verify, RUF keeps extensive records on all builds and conversions. There should also be a letter of authenticity with the car.
