If you want to bring your '75 back to stock you will need a bunch of things.

The first question is, has the car been fully converted to an '86 3.3? If so, how comprehensively? I.e. brakes, transmission, brakes, engine in full, emissions, tail, interior, etc. etc.

The first thing you would want to locate is a correct 3.0 non-intercooled engine, and the correct early whale tail. The tails are quite hard to find.

You may want to post some pictures as well.

Good luck!

As well i will check about the Brakes. the Engine is a later one without a # and the whale tail has also changed. the interior is convert. to a 86.

That looks like a well done conversion. Why convert back? You may be money ahead to sell and find an unmolested example?

Yeah really... why convert it back, it's better now and the interior dashboard is still pre '86.
The fuchs wheels look like they may have been converted to 17's. thats another huge improvement over the origonal 16's that are getting more and more difficult to find tire selections for the rears.

Nice, you picked that car up in WI? I considered it myself, but it sold to you pretty quick, congrats!

75 930's came with 15x7 and 15x8 fuchs, those look to be 16's. early tails are getting harder to come by. but you will need an early tail, the non intercooled charge pipe, early style front valence with out the recessed fogs. remove your passenger mirror, early sport seats. and an early style exhause with the single outlet. these are just the visual differences I spot from the pics. Or you could enjoy it and drive the crap out of it as the good Dr. intended.

I'd drive it the way it is but would slowly collect the bits to make it original some day. '75s and '89s are keepers in my book.

I'll tell you why it should be converted back, thats like converting a 73 RS to a 74 Carrera. A 75 turbo is a extremely rare and valuable car, it worth a hell of a lot more in stock condition than it is "improved".

+1.

I also think the 76s and 77s should be converted back.

Hey - just do what you want with it, IMO! It's YOUR car!

Anywho.....

The cosmetics alone I think will be the hardest to restore. Looks like you would need a new front spoiler with exposed fogs, new bumper (you have the later, flush headlight washers), rear tail, etc. Possibly a rear wiper I don't know if that was standard in 1975. Also looks like you're missing the ashtray (center, lower part of dash). I don't know if the 1975s had dash vents or not.

Looks like the car (or at least the swapped interior) came with full leather - Nice! Keep that dash out of extended sun exposure. That is an early dash, that I know came on the 1976 cars but unsure about 1975.

If you want MY opinion - I'd drive it, take it to the track, see if you like it. If you want to convert it back, do so, if not, then don't!

I say go on and ENJOY it!

A '75 turbo may appreciate like a '74 Carrera but neither are in the class of '73RS. If you want to drive a turbo keep this and drive it. If you want to invest, sell this one and buy a stock '75.

The 75 has a dash with the Loudspeaker and a lot of Interieur parts from the early cars.
I dont want to drive it in the Condition as it is. So i will bring the Car in a cupple days to my Garage and take better Pics from the Car so we can see what is wrong and what is correct.

I am still working on my 1979 Turbo and he gets finish in 8 Weeks, the funny thing is that the 1975 and the 79 has the same color.
Cooper brown diamant met.

How many 1975 Turbos will be out there ?????????????????
