Price check Wheels turbo twists.
Can someone tell me a fair price for these wheels. They are in good shape.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1332802170.jpg
7.5's and 9's ? they are the wheels that came with my car. I got (930) fikse wheels to replace these. I didnt have to change anything. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1332802305.jpg ET15 and ET23 http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1332802372.jpg I've seen others for sale but they dont seem to be direct fit. Nor 17's. Also, any idea what the came off of before my 89 930 ? |

Those wheels would have come off a production line before they were installed on your 930. They are aftermarket wheels as Porsche never made the turbo twists in such a low offset.

Those are likely replicas made by Mille Miglia, a company now out of business. There is someone on RL looking for these, username "Butters944".

Anyone know a price range ?
Or do you think it is good to keep a second set of rims? |
Just got a reply from Butters944 over on RL. He said he already got a set for 300. Same style and size I think. However I don't know if they are a comparable condition.
That said, unless you need to sell them it couldn't hurt to keep a spare set especially if they have usable tires. Be safe, have a good evening! Cheers |
Those are boxster wheels. They are dime a dozen.
I had some 18" off a 993 C4S that I used as track wheels for a few years and then sold for $400 to a friend's kid with used tires. He put them on his 944. The real turbo twists were 18" and hollow unlike my C4S set that was really heavy. |
Thank-you
I will keep them just incase i need them at a later date :) Thanx again for the help. |
