Help me fill up my shopping cart

Knowing this forum, let me preface it by saying only maintenance or emergency spare type stuff. I’m not looking for any mods.

I didn’t get around to an oil change prior to winter so I’m ordering the stuff now and figured it would be a good time to get other stuff from our host. FWIW, after reading more about oil over the weekend, I narrowed it down to Brad Penn, Mobile 1 V-Twin or Valvoline VR1. A FLAPS has Mobile 1 V-Twin 20w-50 on sale, so I’m trying that out.

First question, should I get just the Mahle filter?

I threw in some fuses and was going to do some relay’s but not sure which ones?

What else guys?

Oil drain plug washers
Headlight ring seals
Red relay for the fuel pump (keep a spare in glove box)
Extra bulb for parking lights
Jwest headlight relay kit
Check your headlight buckets, then maybe get new drain tube thingys.

Yes, the Mahle filters are fine.

Brake pads if running low.

Thanks for the replies. I was amazed that it had over 200 reads without a reply. I figured everyone opened it to suggest mods, then had the rug pulled out from under them.

Sorry Aggie, we're all just too lazy or busy to reply. Here's a shopping list of things you may want to have on hand:

Rotor, cap, wires, plugs, fuel filter, air filter, oil filter, fan belt, tool (spanner) for holding the fan when changing the belt, valve cover gaskets for when you decide to adjust the valves - and feeler guage for that purpose, spare o-rings for the turbo up pipe, spare red relays for the fuel pumps, spare yellow relay from hell, assorted spare fuses for front and rear fuse panels.

That oughta just about do it to keep you going down the road.
