half shaft bolt torque

All,

I have removed both half shafts to replace torn CV boots - the bolts were EXTREMELY difficult to remove. I'm curious what the correct torque is (M10x50mm bolts on a 1988 930), because I'm sure they were over-torqued before... Is it 60 ft/lb like the Carrera, or something different?

Thanks!

There is a ****load of information about all iterations of Porsche CVs/CV bolts on the 911 forum . . . here is one thread with a LOT of misinformation, but someone with a working brain comes in (about post #10) and clears it all up.

For some reason when I searched, that thread never showed up. Just the info I needed...

Thanks!

You mean to the question of why a lowlife, ****bag is trying to sell garbage on a forum like this?
