3.2 carrera engine swap for 930 turbo drive train

In process of swapping a 86 3.2 carrera drive train out and replacing it with an 84 930 turbo drive train and wondering what is needed. I have the european drive train engine trans , boost gauge, wiring from engine to fwd fuse panel, electronics from engine compartment. I believe the 86 may have a ecu unit but the 84 does not. Also do I need the shifter unit out of the turbo. Anything else. Appreciate any thoughts. Have all the factory manuals reading and trying to get up to speed.
