Can I do this?!
After watching some Plasti Dip youtubes, I messed with my car in photoshop... So, here is my car lowered further with all black fuches, I really dig it, would be a nice change for a bit and easily reversible, can I go that low?! I doubt it...

Not unless you only drive on a billard table (just one, you could not get over the rails).

Well, putting a proper tail on it would help mean it up nicely!

The car was ordered with tail delete but delivered with the tail in huge box, it's perfect, all factory finished sitting in my cupboard, I like it too much without though.

Black wheels look cool on that machine, you can get it a little lower...

Go for it!
Go with the all black wheels. Looks awesome that low. However, for city driving may be impractical. Go as low as you can. ![]()

I love the "Low Look". Now, these are 18" wheels, so the body's is more off the floor but...

No big deal there Pat, that you painted in my wheels black.
I intentionally did not go with all black, as I feel it makes the car look heavy, and makes the wheels look too bulky. I went with the anthracite centers & anodized lips. It's all it the eyes of the beholder don't-cha-be-know'n.....what ever floats yer boat! Mark Last edited by full quack; 05-09-2012 at 12:23 PM.. |

That low look does look cool but I can't see how it would handle well. Great show stopper though.

Hey Quattro,
Yep...... cars always handle better with a higher center of gravity, plus it helps a lot if you also have copious quantities of air flowing under the car at higher speeds. ![]() Mark |

Cars don't handle better sitting on the bump stops with horrific suspension geometry. Lots of suspension mods required to handle decently, let alone better'n stock when they're dropped soooo low. Done right though it can be go-kart heaven.
